Crossed Lines i...Thanks for having me today, Marva. Crossed Lines is no doubt the most different book I've written to date. Jane Rivers presented a challenge for me as a writer. It's never easy (for me,at least) to write scenes involving child abuse, especially sexual abuse. But I knew I had to bring the reader into this girl's past life to give them chance to have some empathy for her. Then I had to set up a scenario where she could be a schemer and get away with it, but not really.
