Still Possible Today

The term "extraordinary rendition" was the euphemism the government agreed to use when prisoners were tortured for information. Of course, this was illegal in the World Court and should have been anathema in any case. Still, it's a practice becoming popular again with sadistic types of people who have been awarded their dream job by an outlaw country. Thanks to Brian Catherman adding realism to this story. It was published in two ezines: The Deepening and November 3rd Club.

Of course, this story is one of the many I have compiled in "Mixed Bag 2: Supersized" which is available on Amazon and Smashwords for only $1.99.
