Obviously, I lied about this, but it was entirely inadvertent. The day this post appeared, my publisher let me know she was putting my books on sale. What could I do except put off my "retirement" for a while?
My self government, that is. I've been working hard (well, kind of hard) setting up fabulous stuff like last month's time travel and alternate history month. I hope all the authors got some good from their appearances here. I want to thank all of them for sending me the post material with a minimal amount of butt-kicking on my part.
I'd especially like to thank Richard H. Fay for providing a ton of great art pieces illustrating the various time periods represented in the authors' work. If you've been perusing this blog through an RSS feed or on-line service, you will have missed seeing the left-hand column filled with Richard's iconic work. Please click to the top of the blog so you can browse the left column.
All this leads to me taking a break from blogging for a few days or weeks. I'm worn out. I need a vacation from helping other authors present their works, and from me coming up with posts which I hoped to entertain and pique interest in my work.
I will be posting on Lorrie Struiff's blog on October 22nd. It'll be something on my Witches of Galdorheim books because Halloween is for Witches, right?
That's it, then. If I'm moved to post something, I will, but I'm not going to run a big show presenting many authors as I have in the past. Herding cats is hard work.
So, I'll see ya when I see ya. Bye!
I don't blame you - you're so energetic it makes me tired! LOL I have been enjoying Richard Fay's art work in the margin. Btw, I had a notion of reposting on my termitespeaker blog that piece you did on trolls, but now I don't know where it is. Would you mind giving me the link? And would you mind if I reposted it. I loved the Troll under the Bridge.
